Lakers WIN over the Bellies
Friday July 15th The Lakers played host to the New West Salmonbellies. 1st period was a low scoring one with the defence doing a great job. 2nd period saw the scoring open up a little then the 3rd, where the battle really took place. Both teams went back and forth to take the lead then tie it up. The Lakers fought hard to keep the 1 goal lead and walked away with a big WIN 9-8 Lakers! Great game, one of the best of the season.

Our guys had a rough game on Saturday. After coming off a great win on Friday against Langley, the guys couldn’t pull out a back to back win. Losing to the Adanacs 9-4. The 3rd period was great, we shut the Adanacs out keeping them scoreless. As we scored 2 goals to start our comeback. We just ran out of time.
