Sr.A Lacrosse

About

The Burnaby Lakers are a senior A men’s lacrosse team in the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA). The Burnaby Lakers began life as the Richmond Outlaws back in 1986. For the 1990 season they became The Burnaby Lakers.  The Lakers play their home games at Bill Copeland arena located at 3676 Kensington Avenue Burnaby, BC.

This year the Sr Lakers will be playing on a brand new wooden floor. The floor is now installed at Bill Copeland Arena and turned out better than expected. This floor will be the talk and envy of every player, coach, fan who has every been to an indoor lacrosse game. We have to thank the City of Burnaby Mayor, City Council, Facilities staff and all those who have recognized how important lacrosse is to the community, the youth and the pride of Burnaby. Lacrosse has a long and rich history and is about to take a giant leap forward.
